Hoje meu coração está triste.... Perco vc, amigo Pirelli, que como um anjo vai descansar daqui pra frente. Nós que fomos atingidos pela Hanseníase, perdemos o maior guerreiro de todas as causas que abraçamos; o melhor exemplo de luta e dignidade que este país já teve, em defesa dos direitos sociais dos que precisam de nosso trabalho. Mas sei compreender os caminhos de Deus e portanto, sei que aqui conosco ficará para sempre o seu exemplo e que possamos no dia a dia fazermos da sua memória, mais trabalho e mais dedicação.

Today my heart is sad .... I miss you Pirelli friend, who as an angel will rest from now on. We who have been affected by leprosy, we lost the greatest warrior of all causes we embrace; the best example of struggle and dignity that this country has had in defense of the social rights of those who need our work. But I understand the ways of God and so I know that here with us will forever be his example and we can do on the day of his memory, more work and dedication.
